After working as a studio to create a large-scale drawing of Wendy, a MoMA PS1 installation by HWKN architects, the fabric which created the three-dimensional object was “flattened” into a two-dimensional drawing using a series of trigonometric operations. Individually, this drawing was used as the basis for a development of form based on 15 distinct regions found within this two-dimensional realization of Wendy. The resulting plans were measured and drawn after building the model.
